China Development Bank Hong Kong Branch would like to alert its customers to phishing emails, scam letters and fraudulent website. Such emails and letters falsely purporting to be issued by staff of China Development Bank Hong Kong Branch requested the recipient to open at our branch a corporate account, furnish account opening documents, settle legal fees with lawyers purporting to act on our behalf for attestation process and complete the legal attestation process, in order to obtain a loan disbursement.
From the aforementioned emails and letters, we have also been made aware of a fraudulent website which claims to provide online banking services to our customers. The URL of such fraudulent website is https://www.cdbhk.com/en-hk.
China Development Bank Hong Kong Branch would like to announce that the aforementioned fraudulent website is not our official website.
China Development Bank Hong Kong Branch would like to remind its customers that it has no connection with the phishing emails and scam letters and customers are advised not to provide any information in response to fraudulent emails and letters.
Customers are reminded that our name is“国家开发银行 China Development Bank”and the telephone number of our Hong Kong branch is (852) 2801 6218. Our official website is http://www.cdb.com.cn/. If any customer is in doubt, please reach us by phone and/or report to the police.
