Since 2001, the CDB has established a client management system in line with international practices. The system is an important move by the CDB to adapt itself to market competition and is intended to improve work efficiency and levels of service, to stabilize relationships between the bank and enterprises and to offer flexible financial products and services based on clients' unique needs.
Client managers' duties include: first, to forge liaisons with major clients, to coordinate the relationships, to establish regular or occasional dialogues with the clients' senior management, to discuss the clients' operational performance and important business activities, and to establish harmonious and trusting relationships with the enterprises; second, to study and analyze the clients' business development trends, to pay attention to clients' operational and financial status, to learn the clients' financing needs in key projects and their financing schemes and intentions, and to provide timely feedback; and thirdly, to resolve key problems promptly. |
