Song Ningde, head of Dongquan Primary School in Hongsipu's Shaquan Township, received yesterday a fund-donation "check" printed with the amount of RMB 200 thousand from the hands of Fu Xiaodong, president of China Development Bank ("CDB") Ningxia Branch. On the donation ceremony held on that day, CDB Ningxia Branch donated the RMB 1.8 million prize money of government of Ningxia Hui Nationality Autonomous Region to support construction of primary schools for immigrants in the mountainous regions, enrich Women and Children Development Fund and Teenagers Development Fund of the autonomous region and improve village-level activity places, among others.

According to introduction, CDB Ningxia Branch has donated a total of RMB 5 million to society by various means since its establishment.
